Our story began in 1894 when Renwick Rowan, a contractor and undertaker, served as the New Kensington area's undertaker. Since then, our funeral home has been a staple in the community, passing from generation to generation.
Our History
Our family's commitment to excellence and service is deeply rooted in our history. From Renwick Rowan to Frank L. Hankey, J. Paul Gordon, and W. Eugene Beck, each generation has built upon the foundation of quality and integrity. In 1946, Frank L. Hankey and his sons, Charles H. and Ronald T. Hankey, established our current location at 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. In 1953, Ross G. Walker purchased W. Eugene Beck's funeral home and continued the tradition of excellence. Today, our funeral home is owned and operated by Ross G. Walker, his wife Virginia, and their licensed children, Ross III and Lisa.
