Empowering Students through Karate, Discipline, and Respect

Our Story

At Western Heights Learning Center, we are proud to have a rich history that spans over five decades. Founded in 1962 by Rev. Wallace and Norma Franklin, our church was originally located on Bridge Street in the South Valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. As our community grew, so did our facilities, and in 1965, we relocated to our current location. The child care center was established in 1968 to meet the need of the community, where many children were left alone during the day. Our founders, Wallace and Norma, had a deep love for the children of this community, and it was out of this love that our learning center grew and flourished.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs designed to cater to the unique needs of children from 2 to 5th grade. Our programs include:

  • Elementary: A kindergarten program designed for children aged 5-6, focusing on academic and social development.
