Our Story
Dr. Bryan Stam has been a part of the Jacksonville community since 1985. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University and has been practicing in Northeast Florida for the last 19 years. Dr. Stam specializes in primary care optometry including basic comprehensive eye exams for eyeglasses and contacts as well as medical exams for diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, macular degeneration, etc.
Dr. Gary M. Akel, another esteemed member of our team, is a graduate of Florida State University and the Southern College of Optometry. He has made it his mission to provide high-quality eye care with compassion since 1979. Dr. Akel has extensive experience in all eye diseases, especially cataracts, diabetes eye conditions, glaucoma, and eye infections.
