Our Services
At Jet City Animal Clinic, we offer a wide range of services to ensure that your pet receives the best possible care. Our comprehensive services include veterinary examinations, diagnostics, surgical services, preventative care, end of life services, integrative medicine, nutritional counseling, dentistry and oral surgery, and travel planning and certificates.
Our comprehensive exams involve a thorough assessment of your pet's health, including physical exam, observation of behavior, and discussion of any specific concerns. Our diagnostic services include advanced tools such as digital radiology, ultrasound, and blood, urine, and specimen evaluation. We also have board-certified radiologists and cardiologists who partner with us to provide onsite advanced imaging services.
Our surgical team includes a minimum of one doctor plus two licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs) to assure safety and quality paired with the latest anesthetic plans and multiparameter monitoring equipment. We also provide preventative care services, including personalized discussions and plans for vaccines, diet and supplements, exercise, baseline diagnostics, and parasiticides for intestinal parasites, heartworm, fleas, and ticks.
End of Life Services
At Jet City Animal Clinic, we understand the importance of providing the best quality of life possible for your pet until passing naturally or humanely euthanized. We provide urgent care as needed; extended appointments including counseling and support for decision-making; medications and other therapies administered to relieve discomfort, stress, and pain; euthanasia options tailored to your and your pet's needs (which may include in-home euthanasia); and pet loss support/grief counseling resources.
Integrative Medicine
We also offer integrative medicine services, which include complementary therapies recommended based on conventional diagnostic methods as well as traditional Chinese medical pattern diagnosis. These therapies can be used as stand-alone treatments or combined with conventional Western therapies. Our complementary services include a wide range of nutraceutical products, laser therapy, acupuncture, Chinese herbal and nutritional consultations.
Nutritional Counseling
Our understanding of nutrition and the connection between diet and health is crucial for our pets throughout their lives, whether healthy or during treatment of specific conditions. We discuss diet delivery systems and possible alternatives, such as slow feeders or devices that present a toy or puzzle, if those might be beneficial. We also assess Body Condition Score and discuss your pet's healthy weight when talking with dog and cat pet parents.
Dentistry & Oral Surgery
Our team recognizes that dental and periodontal disease affects nearly 85 percent of all cats and dogs over three years of age. This disease is a frequent source of pain, leads to poor general health, and also has been associated with liver, kidney, and heart disorders. The good news is, dental disease is treatable and preventable. Our doctors and technicians have advanced training in dentistry, including dental cleaning, radiography, and oral surgery.
Travel Planning & Certificates
Our team has successfully coordinated export planning for over 500 members of our medical family. Every country has unique requirements that are updated regularly. In an effort to help pet owners successfully complete the complicated international health certificate process, Jet City Animal Clinic has developed strict guidelines by which we research, process, and issue the certificates.
