Problems with Customer Service
Amanda Vetter, who has been a patient for over 10 years, had a bad experience with the office "manager" Heather. Heather demanded that Amanda pay $100 before insurance could be billed, which surprised Amanda as she has always had great experiences with the dentist and staff. Amanda was upset and told Heather she would not pay unless insurance was run first, as her insurance covers most of her costs. Heather was rude and unmoved, claiming that the new policy was due to Amanda's insurance not covering previous visits. Amanda called her insurance and found out that she only owed $35.50 for the visit. When she called the dentist to complain, Heather was again rude and unfriendly.
Emma Sg, another patient, had a similar experience. She had to cancel an appointment due to Covid and then could not get an appointment for 6 months. When she called to schedule another appointment, Heather told her that she had broken loyalty by scheduling an appointment with another dentist, and therefore was not allowed to schedule another appointment with Rooker Dentistry. Emma was unhappy with this decision, as she believed that a front desk receptionist should not dictate her oral hygiene and dental care.
