Our Services
At Sunset Children's Dentistry, we offer a range of services to meet the unique dental needs of children. These services include:
- Preventative care: We recommend that all children have preventative care appointments, including an exam, cleaning, fluoride treatment, and if needed, x-rays. These appointments should be scheduled twice a year for optimal oral health.
- Age One Visit: The American Academies of Pediatric Dentistry and Pediatrics recommend that children should visit the dentist within six months of the first tooth erupting, no later than 12 months of age. Early preventative care gives children the best chance at being cavity-free.
- Emergency care: We understand that dental emergencies can happen at any time. We offer emergency care for our patients and will make every effort to see your child as soon as possible in the event of a dental emergency.
- Sedation dentistry: We offer sedation dentistry options for children who may be anxious or fearful of dental treatment. These options include nitrous oxide and conscious sedation.
- Special needs dentistry: Our doctors and staff are trained to provide dental care for children with special needs. We work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that each child's unique needs are met.
Thank you for considering Sunset Children's Dentistry for your child's dental care. We look forward to serving your family and providing your child with a positive dental experience.
