Golden Dental Care was founded in 1972 by Dr. John R. Burchfield, Sr. In 1998, his son, Dr. John M. Burchfield, Jr. joined the practice, and together they provided high-quality dental care to the community for 13 years until Dr. John R. Burchfield, Sr. retired in 2011. Today, Dr. John M. Burchfield, Jr. continues his father's legacy of honest, caring dental work with a pursuit of current techniques to provide the patient with an exceptional and thorough dental experience.

Dr. John M. Burchfield grew up in Golden, Colorado, and graduated from the University of Colorado Dental School in 1998. He is a member of the Metro Denver Dental Society, Colorado Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Burchfield has been awarded the Delta Dental Certificate of Excellence from 2006 to the present and the Colorado Gerontological Society Award.
