Smile bigger with exceptional care
At Pet Community Center, we believe every animal deserves high-quality veterinary care. Our mission is to strengthen the human-animal bond by providing accessible veterinary care and support services to the community. We aim to make a positive impact on the lives of pets and their owners, improving public health and quality of life in the neighborhoods we serve.
Our History
Pet Community Center was founded in 2011 by a group of animal welfare advocates and volunteers who recognized the need for affordable and accessible veterinary care in Nashville. After conducting research and identifying the barriers to veterinary care in the community, we opened our first clinic in East Nashville in 2014. Over the years, we have seen significant progress, including a 50% reduction in animal intake at Nashville's shelters and a decrease in euthanasia rates.
Our Services
At Pet Community Center, we provide a variety of services to benefit the health and well-being of pets in our community. Our services include:
- Spay and Neuter: We offer low-cost spay and neuter surgeries to prevent pet overpopulation and reduce the number of animals in shelters.
- Vaccine Clinic: Our vaccine clinic provides low-cost vaccinations to ensure the health and well-being of pets in our community.
- Community Cat Program: Our community cat program provides spay and neuter services for feral cats, helping to reduce the number of unwanted litters and preventing the spread of disease.
