We strive to aid students in developing life skills that will enable them to become socially aware and productive citizens who participate in the greater community.
Our Facilities and Programs
Our two-level schoolhouse is designed to provide a foundation for students to succeed in their learning and character development. The facilities at ICS include 11 classrooms, a Title 1 Office, and the spacious Mary Ann Murphy Library & Multi-Purpose Room. We also have a state-of-the-art volleyball court and basketball courts that overlook the majestic skyline of Downtown Los Angeles.
Technology and Learning
Technology is an integral part of our learning system. We equip our students with the tools they need from the very start. Students in Preschool-2nd grade work with iPads, while students in 3rd-8th grade transition to a Chromebook. We also utilize cutting-edge curriculum and adaptive programs that meet our students' learning styles and needs.
Our Faculty and Staff
Our faculty and staff are dedicated professionals with a variety of backgrounds, experience, and certifications. Our teachers have Early Education licenses, CA teaching credentials, and Masters degrees in Education. Our caring support staff have either walked the halls of Immaculate Conception themselves as former students, or are parents or grandparents of students that have walked (or are still walking) the same halls.
Our Program Structure
Our academic programs are designed to provide a comprehensive education that address the various needs of our students. We offer a range of programs, including Early Childhood Education, Lower School (Primary & Elementary), and Upper School (Jr. High). We also offer enrichment activities, such as Art, Loyola High School Tutor Outreach, Extended Day Program, and Student Government Sports.
