Our History
O'Gorman & Sons Automotive was founded in 1972 by 'Iron' Mike O'Gorman. Mike ran an automotive shop centered on personal service with quality his top priority. Mike was known to be an honest, reliable and efficient business owner and mechanic. By growing strong customer relationships in the community under Mike's direction, O'Gorman and Sons became one of the most recognized names in the Milwaukee area. Mike's sons soon joined the team. Gil joined in 1984, Mike Jr in 1991, and Dan in 1994. While Mike Jr and Gil eventually moved on to other vocations, Dan stayed on assisting his father and took over operations before Mike Sr passed on in 2011. A born mechanic and now owner of O'Gorman and Sons, Dan keeps a clean shop, believes in honest prices, and delivers quality work. Dan is committed to carrying on the family business the same way his father did with competitive pricing, reliable and sincere service, and resilient consumer relationships.
