Our Story
Dr. Joe Cordell originally opened TVH in the 70's. When he opened, he knew from the beginning that he would like to build long-lasting relationships with his clients. Dr. David Woodham bought the practice in 2006. To this day, we still have clients that have been with us for almost 20 years! We also pride ourselves on still being your locally owned small veterinary practice. That means we only have one doctor to follow your pet through a lifetime, 2 receptionists ready to greet you by name, and three technicians caring for your pets.

Meet Our Team
Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch care for your pets. Dr. David Woodham, our lead veterinarian, is a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida. Katy, our practice manager, has been working at TVH since 2002 and is known as the "In-house Cat Whisperer." Adrienne, our head veterinary technician, has been working in the veterinary field for 8 years. Tori, our veterinary technician/receptionist, has a passion for animals and loves spending time outdoors. Katie, our veterinary technician assistant, has experience working at the Tallahassee-Leon County Animal Shelter. Kaedin, our kennel technician, loves traveling with her family. Koko, our hospital administrator, is a sassy feral cat who keeps us on our toes. Quill R. Pumpernickel is our maintenance supervisor who joined our team at the same time as Koko.
