Our Story
Since 1989, we have been New York City's premiere optical shop for designer prescription eyewear. Our founder, Anthony, has been in the optical trade since 1988 and has built a reputation for providing personalized, knowledgeable service to each and every customer. Our shop has become a neighborhood hang-out, where customers can relax and receive expert advice on choosing the perfect eyewear.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of eye care services, including eye exams, contact lens exams, and eyeglass repairs. Our team of board-certified optometrists can perform full, comprehensive optical exams, fit you for contact lenses, and provide prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses. We also offer custom tinting services, so you can create your own unique pair of sunglasses.
Our Eyewear Collection
We carry an extensive range of high-end eyewear brands, including Jacques Marie Mage, Blake Kuwahara, Oliver Peoples, Tom Ford, Dita, Ic! Berlin, Barton Perreira, Bevel, and Thom Browne. We also carry more competitively priced lines of eyewear, such as Modo eyewear and Intrigue glasses, to accommodate most budgets. Our selection includes children's glasses, prescription sunglasses, and specialty lenses.

Our Locations
We have two convenient locations in New York City, one in the East Village and one in Midtown. Our East Village location is located at 42 St. Marks Pl, New York, NY 10003, and our Midtown location is located at 161 East 32nd St, New York, NY 10016. We are open Monday through Saturday, and appointments can be scheduled online or by phone.
