Your First Visit

During your first visit to Surprise Chiropractic, you can expect the following:

2. He will perform a comprehensive examination, which may include the use of a heat reading instrument, reflex tests, muscle tests, orthopedic tests, or nerve tests. Dr. Verloop, D.C. will gently assess the affected areas for tenderness, inflammation, and restricted motion.

3. If necessary, X-rays will be taken to provide additional insight into the condition of your spine and surrounding structures. The need for X-rays will be determined based on various factors, which will be discussed with you prior to taking any images.

4. Dr. Verloop, D.C. will review his findings with you and recommend a personalized care plan based on your goals for treatment. If your condition falls outside of our scope of practice, we will refer you to a suitable healthcare professional.

5. If you are a good candidate for chiropractic care, Dr. Verloop, D.C. will explain the adjustment process and perform the first adjustment, given your consent.

Your initial visit may last between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the severity of your condition.
