Our History
Gentle Doctor Animal Hospital was founded in 1965 by Dr. T. Robert Bashara, and since then, we have grown to become one of the leading veterinary hospitals in the Omaha area. Our story began with a single practitioner at Mapleview Animal Clinic, and as Omaha grew, so did our need for veterinary services. We expanded to open a second location, Candlewood Animal Hospital, and later, our state-of-the-art hospital at 153rd and Maple. Today, we have a team of 44 professional and non-professional employees dedicated to providing top-notch care to your pets.
