Our Leadership Team

Our leadership team consists of highly experienced and qualified professionals who have decades of experience in the electrical engineering industry. Our team includes Michael Dougherty, P.E., President; A.J. Molnar, P.E., Vice-President; Jerry Ford, P.E., Treasurer; and Jeremy Furr, P.E., Corporate Secretary. Our team members hold registration in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, with various individuals holding from one to three state registrations.

Our Operations

At Southeastern, we believe in providing personalized service to our clients. To achieve this, we manage all projects commissioned by a single client by the same engineer, minimizing time and expense of job familiarization. This approach allows for more convenient and efficient communications, as clients can directly contact the engineer managing their project. Our design engineers also share ideas and discuss possible solutions to project requirements, utilizing the collective knowledge and experience of the firm.

Our Projects

Southeastern has worked on numerous projects across the Southeast region, including wastewater treatment plant electrical upgrades, grid modernization, and generator installations. Some of our notable projects include the Camden Streetscapes, Harper Road Pump Station, and Rock Hill Generation projects.

Join Our Team

Southeastern Consulting Engineers is currently seeking an Associate Engineer to join our team based in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field and at least four months of experience in electrical engineering. The successful candidate will provide engineering support for municipal electric systems and water/wastewater electrical distribution systems, apply electrical engineering principles to design overhead and underground power distribution systems, and perform distribution planning studies.
