Ms. Inge Smith, the founder and owner of Smith Preschool, has dedicated her life to early childhood education. Our team of experienced and passionate educators is the backbone of our preschool. Ms. Claudia, our Director and pre-kindergarten teacher, has a personal connection to Smith Preschool, having been a student of Ms. Inge's as a child. With a deep-rooted love for learning and teaching, Ms. Claudia provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students.
Ms. Lauren and Ms. Kacy, our pre-kindergarten teachers, bring their own unique perspectives and talents to our team. With a family tradition of teaching and a passion for creating a joyful learning experience, they ensure that each child reaches their full potential.
Our Programs: A Comprehensive Curriculum for All Ages
At Smith Preschool, we offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of each child. Our Pre-K 3 program uses the acclaimed "Frog Street Press" curriculum, which integrates instruction across developmental domains. Our Pre-K 4 program emphasizes letter and sound recognition, along with numbers and fine motor skills. Our Pre-K 5 program focuses on "Kindergarten Readiness" using the proven "Animal Island" program.
In addition, all of our programs incorporate the Weekly Reader by Scholastic, teaching science and social studies concepts. We believe that learning should be a joyful and immersive experience, and our curriculum reflects this commitment.
