Our Philosophy
We believe that preschool is a crucial period in a child's life, and it's essential to provide an environment that addresses the growth and development of the whole child. At Rainbow School, we focus on the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic growth of our students. Our program is designed to meet the unique needs of each child, and we strive to provide a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters a love for learning.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs designed to cater to the diverse needs of our students. Our preschool classes for 3-5 year olds are designed to provide a well-rounded preschool experience with a Christian focus. Our classes are mixed-aged, with older preschoolers serving as leaders for their younger peers. Our curriculum is play-based, with a focus on writing, alphabet, and phonics, as well as social-emotional skills.
We also offer full-day classes for 4-5 year olds, which are designed to help students prepare for full-day kindergarten. Our full-day classes include enrichment activities, such as Pre-K literacy and math, Spanish, and science, as well as customized activities to challenge and prepare students for kindergarten.
For 4-5 year olds, we also offer a 5-day morning option, which includes Pre-K enrichment classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as preschool classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

We have a team of dedicated teachers who are committed to providing a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters a love for learning. Our staff is committed to being examples of Christ's love and providing a safe and welcoming environment for all students.

We are located at Zumbro Lutheran Church, 624 3rd Ave SW, Rochester, MN 55902. Our entrance is on the left side of the building, door #4.
