Our Story
At Devi Dutta Architecture Inc., we believe that architecture should be modern, casual, and accessible. Our founder, Devi Dutta-Choudhury, a licensed architect with Masters Degrees in Architecture from both UCLA and Tulane University, founded the studio in 2008 to respond to the growing need for innovative and integrated design solutions. Having grown up in diverse environments, Devi is attuned to the varied lifestyles of her clients and seeks to create spaces that reflect and enhance daily life.

From understanding the site, working with architects, and being your own contractor to deciding when to redesign and when to leave alone, we guide you through the process from foundation to completion.

Our Expertise
Our expertise spans a wide range of project types, from mixed-use urban projects to public schools, custom homes, and non-profit designs. We have worked with various clients, including the Youth Credit Union Program in San Francisco's Mission District and the Film Arts Foundation in SOMA. Our work has been exhibited in galleries in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New Orleans.
