Our History
Our company was founded in 1938 by Andrew T. Johnson, who started the business on Beacon Hill. His wife, Evangeline, handled the books and billing. Over the years, we have expanded and successfully operated, keeping up with the latest technology and providing quality services. In 1947, we employed fifty employees in several locations. After Andrew T. Johnson's passing in 1978, the company was bought by Warren K. Leslie, a veteran employee. Under his leadership, we continued to grow, opening the Wales Copy Center in Lexington and founding the Beacon Hill Courier Service, Inc. In the last decade, we have updated our equipment to keep pace with the latest innovations in printing and reprographics, expanding our services to include digital plans, large format scanning, plotting to file, large color, high-speed digital duplication, and more.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services to cater to our clients' diverse needs. Our digital imaging and CAD plotting services provide high-quality prints up to 36 inches wide. Our display graphics services include signs, banners, and promotional materials, all produced in stunning high-impact color. Our copying and duplication services provide high-speed, high-quality prints for reports, invitations, stationery, and more. Our offset printing services use single and multi-color offset presses to produce exceptional presentation materials, brochures, letterheads, flyers, and postcards. Our online planroom allows easy access to construction project distribution, enabling clients to view blueprints, order prints, and download PDFs, as well as receive update notifications. We also offer courier services, meeting deadlines and delivering results with both foot and vehicle couriers.
