- Attorney-Parent Consultants: We work collaboratively with attorneys and parents to develop strategies that prioritize the best interests of the child. Our expertise in family law and psychology allows us to help attorneys and parents navigate the complexities of custody evaluations and mediations.
- Mediation: Our experienced mediators facilitate open and respectful communication between parents, helping them to reach agreements that are in the best interests of their children. Our goal is to help parents navigate the mediation process with dignity and respect.
- Custody Evaluations: We conduct thorough and objective custody evaluations that provide critical information to the court. Our evaluations are based on a comprehensive assessment of the family's dynamics, strengths, and challenges.
- Parent Coordination: We provide Parent Coordination services to help parents navigate the challenges of co-parenting. Our goal is to help parents develop effective communication skills, decrease conflict, and prioritize the needs of their children.
- Mediation Preparation: We provide guidance and support to parents who are preparing for mediation. Our expertise in family law and psychology allows us to help parents develop effective strategies for mediation.
Meet Our Team
Our team is composed of highly qualified and experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing compassionate and expert psychological services.
- Dr. Lori Love: With over two decades of experience, Dr. Love is a leader in family law consulting. She is a former adjunct faculty at San Diego State University in the Child & Family Development Department and a founding and executive board member of San Diego Parent Coordinators. She is also a member of the Family Law College of Trial Advocacy, San Diego Faculty Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts, and the Founding Board Member of Kathy's Legacy (Domestic Violence). Dr. Love is an expert in custody evaluations and mediation.
- Dr. Miguel Alvarez: With over two decades of experience, Dr. Alvarez is a bilingual Spanish-speaking psychologist with expertise in all aspects of divorce-related matters. He has completed over 600 Independent Medical Evaluations for attorneys in Family Law, federal cases, civil and state, in both California and Hawaii. He is also a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) and provides Independent Medical Evaluator (IME) services.
- Diane Ghiron, Psy. D: Dr. Ghiron is a licensed psychologist who provides individual and family therapy, as well as psychological assessments. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Sally Lynch, LMFT: Sally Lynch is a licensed marriage and family therapist who provides individual, couple, and family therapy. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families.
