Our Team
At the helm of our practice is Dr. Michelle L. Widmeier, a dedicated and experienced chiropractor with over 20 years of experience in the field of holistic medicine. Dr. Widmeier holds a doctorate in chiropractic medicine from the University of Bridgeport School of Chiropractic, is dually licensed to practice in Connecticut and New York, and has completed a fellowship in Medical Acupuncture and Mechanical Diagnosis Therapy.
Dr. Widmeier's extensive background in chiropractic medicine is complemented by her training in alternative therapies, including active myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, structural integration (Rolfing), and graston (IASTM); neurofeedback (EEG) mindfulness training, acupuncture and dry-needling, and cupping, among others. She is also a certified 75-hour Jivamukti Yoga teacher and the creator of Ground Control Wellness, a mobile chiropractic, acupuncture, and wellness clinic designed to respond to the current and new patient base due to COVID-19's commercial shut down.
