Young Years Children's Education Center

At Young Years, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children from 30 months to 12 years old. Our state-licensed early childhood education center and school-age program, located in southeast Shreveport, Louisiana, offers a unique and innovative approach to childcare and preschool education. With over 43 years of experience, our full-time education and childcare center is committed to providing the finest facilities and services available for children.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of children at different ages and stages of development. Our preschool program, for children aged 2-1/2 to 5 years, uses the "We Can" curriculum in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Education's HATCH Program and our own Tutor-by-Two's Program to prepare them for their school years ahead. Our school-age program, for children aged 5-12 years, provides before and after school care, including planned activities and sports, as well as transportation to and from several local schools.

Our Facilities

Our facility consists of three buildings, each designed to meet the specific needs of our students. Our Main Building is home to our preschool program, while our School Age I and II Buildings provide dedicated spaces for our school-age students. We also have a large, grass-covered outdoor play area with play equipment, covered concrete areas, and picnic tables, providing a safe and fun environment for children to explore and learn.
