Our Story
HCDA Engineering, Inc. (formerly Howard C. Dutzi & Associates, Inc.) was founded in November of 1961. Since its inception, the firm has been engaged as structural engineering consultants to many architectural firms and other clients for numerous building projects of various types and sizes. Our present staff consists of seven licensed engineers and four CAD staff knowledgeable in both AutoCAD and REVIT modeling, and an administrative assistant. Working to satisfy the needs of our client, we have designed structures using virtually every type of system and material including masonry, timber, structural steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned and prestressed concrete. We have designed foundations of all types, such as spread footings, driven piles, and drilled piers.

We produce the highest level of structural drawings that tell a complete story, from ink and mylar to detailed 3D Building Information Modeling. During construction administration, we work closely with the region's best builders to produce exciting and successful projects, ensuring that your project is built right.
