Our Story
As a photographer, I stumbled into this beautiful profession more than 10 years ago. What started as a hobby quickly became my passion, allowing me to explore the city I love and meet incredible people along the way. From my first wedding, a 10-person elopement, to the second, a 400-person extravaganza, I knew I'd found my calling. I shoot the way I'd hope my own wedding would be photographed - with big, happy smiles, beautiful light, bold colors, and plenty of outtakes.
Engagement Sessions
Engagement sessions are a BLAST! These 1-hour sessions are designed to get to know each other better, have a ton of fun, and become more comfortable in front of the camera. I love brainstorming locations with my clients and encouraging them to choose a backdrop that truly suits who you are as a couple. Your favorite neighborhood, mural, or restaurant - anything goes! So, bring your puppy, wear your favorite outfit, and get ready to snuggle - these sessions are my absolute favorite! And, as an added bonus, engagement sessions are reduced to $300 for clients who book a wedding with us.
What's Traditional Anyways?
At Porter Watkins Photography, we LOVE elopements and intimate weddings! We've shot dozens in the last year alone, including Saturdays, and I even eloped myself! Every small wedding or elopement can be customized and tailored to your special day. We've shot small weddings at breweries, along riverbanks, in parks, and in backyards - everywhere! Pricing for small weddings/elopements starts at $485 per hour, with additional fees applying for travel or permits. If you're thinking of keeping it simple, let's chat - I'd love to work with you!
