Our History

Gause Funeral Home was founded by George Henry and Marie Freeman Gause, who had a vision to provide a comforting and dignified experience for families during their time of need. Our founders had a successful business in Wilmington, North Carolina, but due to health reasons, they relocated to Florida and opened a funeral home in Bartow in 1928. Since then, we have been dedicated to serving the communities of Bartow, Mulberry, Bradley, Pierce, Ft. Meade, and all of Central Florida.
