The Potosi Brewing Company, originally founded in 1852, has a storied past that spans more than a century. Nestled in the scenic town of Potosi, Wisconsin, and just a stone's throw away from the mighty Mississippi River, the brewery once produced a wide variety of delicious craft beers before closing its doors in 1972 due to changing market pressures.
In 2008, the Potosi Brewing Company was re-established on its original site, reviving the art of craft brewing on Main Street in Potosi. Today, our dedicated team crafts only the finest beer with unwavering dedication, in small batches, and without compromise, continuing our tradition of excellence and commitment to quality. We are proud to be the hometown of beer, upholding our rich history and brewing heritage for all to enjoy.

Hours of Operation
Join us at our restaurant and museum from Monday to Saturday, 11 AM to 9 PM, and on Sundays from 11 AM to 6 PM. For large parties or private events, we recommend calling ahead at 608-763-4002.
Brewery tours of our production facility are available on Saturdays at 1:00 PM, with additional tour times available upon request. To best accommodate your group, we encourage making reservations in advance.
