Our History
Our story began in 1946 when Valentine "Val" Jelacic founded Jelacic Funeral Home. Val, a recent mortuary school graduate and WWII Navy veteran, had a vision to provide compassionate and affordable funeral services to the community. Over the years, our business has grown, and we've expanded our facilities to better serve the needs of our families. Today, Tom and Mark Jelacic, Val's sons, continue to operate the funeral home, upholding the same values of compassion, dignity, and respect that our father founded the business on.
