Empowering Holistic Healthcare for All
St. Paul Community Acupuncture is a member clinic of the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA), dedicated to providing effective and affordable acupuncture services to the community. Our licensed practitioner, Trish, has years of experience in the healthcare system and is committed to making holistic healthcare accessible to everyone.
Our Story
As a pharmacist, Trish witnessed changes in the healthcare system that were not always beneficial. This led her to explore alternative methods of healing, and she discovered the Community Acupuncture Network (CAN), which later became the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA). Trish was inspired by POCA's mission to bring acupuncture to the public in an accessible way: affordable and convenient. She knew that providing accessible holistic healthcare was her future.
Our Services
At St. Paul Community Acupuncture, we offer affordable and convenient acupuncture services to the community. Our clinic is set up similarly to acupuncture clinics in many Asian countries, where high-volume clinics provide skilled care at affordable rates to more people. We specialize in delivering results in a community setting, making acupuncture accessible to a wider range of people.
Our sessions are 45 minutes long, and we encourage our clients to rest during their acupuncture sessions. We also offer occasional cupping when warranted. We do not provide additional therapies like massage, moxibustion, or lifestyle changes, as our focus is on delivering skilled care at affordable rates.
Community Acupuncture: What's the Difference?
In private settings, practitioners typically spend 30-45 minutes on intake, assessment, and consultation, and clients are treated in private rooms. Our community acupuncture clinic is designed to provide skilled care at affordable rates to more people. We make a quick and efficient assessment and provide an effective personalized treatment. We encourage our clients to rest during their acupuncture sessions.
