Our Mission
New Discovery Montessori is dedicated to providing a high-quality, Montessori-based education to children from 2.5 to 6 years of age. Our expertly trained teachers create a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning. We believe that every child is unique and learns best through manipulating, questioning, discriminating, exploring, and examining their world. Our students fully enjoy the act of learning and develop the skills needed for a lifetime of independent learning.
Our Programs
We offer two classes: a morning program from 9:00-11:45 AM and an afternoon program from 12:15-3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Our half-day school is designed to provide a balanced and engaging educational experience. We also offer a Summer Camp program for children who have completed our Summer Camp program in previous years.
Our Staff
Our lead teacher, Ms. Andrea Riches, has over 20 years of experience in Montessori education. She is a certified Montessori teacher and has a Bachelor's degree in Communications and an Early Childhood Education Certification. Ms. Andrea is passionate about providing a high-quality education to children and believes in the importance of teaching foreign languages from a young age.
Music Lingua Spanish Program
At New Discovery Montessori, we understand the importance of teaching children foreign languages at a young age. Our Music Lingua Spanish program uses music, movement, and storytelling to teach children Spanish. This unique program is designed to be fun and engaging while introducing children to a new language.
Parent Involvement
We believe that parents are our greatest allies in education. We encourage parents to get involved in various ways, such as volunteering, helping with maintenance, donating materials, and speaking to the class about their profession or recent travels. We also offer a Parents' Night Out, where parents can enjoy a relaxing evening while our staff entertains and educates their children.
