Silkka Oboka, the founder and lead stylist at Silk Hair Studio, is a passionate and experienced hairstylist who has been in the industry for over 20 years. She was inspired by the seemingly endless creative challenges that hairstyling presents and decided to pursue her passion full-time in 1999.
Growing up in Boulder, Colorado, Silkka was exposed to many different textures of hair, which sparked her interest in hairstyling. She attended Xenon School of International Hair Design, where she honed her skills and learned the art of hair coloring and its transformative power. After graduating, she trained under a local hair extension expert and developed another great tool for hair transformations - hair extensions.
Today, Silkka specializes in healthy hair development and maintenance, as well as hair coloring and hair extensions. She is dedicated to providing exceptional services that exceed her clients' expectations and help them look and feel their best.
