Meet Your Photographer
Hi there! I am Erica, the owner and photographer of Puddles and Pearls! I am a certified PPA professional photographer and am highly trained and educated in safe newborn posing and care. I strongly believe in building as many memories as we can and documenting life as we go. Many years from now, one of the things we'll cherish the most is the ability to sit on the couch with our grandkids and flip through albums and boxes filled with photos while we share all of our wonderful life stories and adventures with them!
Our Team
Meet Chelsea, our client coordinator and makeup artist. Chelsea has 5 beautiful children and has lived in the Colorado Springs area for most of her life. She loves to help women feel empowered and beautiful in their own skin and hopes to bring this to the studio. From full face make-up to light touch-ups, Chelsea is here for our clients in whichever way they may need.
Safety Precautions
When looking for a newborn photographer, safety should always be your top priority. We take the safety of your newborn very seriously and have taken several online courses in safe posing and studio practices, as well as in-person workshops and mentoring. Our studio is always warm and clean, and we utilize a spotter in the studio, typically mom or dad, when incorporating popular upright poses.
Credentials
I have trained and mentored under several highly qualified newborn photographers and have 6 years of experience in the field of newborn photography. I am also a certified professional photographer through the PPA (Professional Photographers of America). I have a bachelor's degree in fine art with a focus in painting.
