At Shrout Family Chiropractic, we have been serving the Carmel and surrounding areas since 2006. As a husband and wife team, we are truly a family practice. Our goal is to find the root cause of a problem, address it as quickly as possible, and then keep it from coming back. We believe that chiropractic care can help anyone of any age achieve optimal function and health.

We offer a wide range of services, including chiropractic care, functional medicine, nutrition, craniosacral therapy, weight loss, physical therapy, massage, and more. Our doctors have over 30 years of combined experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal issues, such as back pain, headaches, sciatica, frozen shoulder, knee pain, and much more.
Our Office
We are a full-service chiropractic office that specializes in treating the whole family. Our office is open every day from 8:30 am to 12 pm and then again from 2 pm to 5 pm. Your first visit is scheduled for an hour, including any necessary x-rays. We do not x-ray every patient, but determine the need individually. Additional visits are scheduled for 15 minutes.
Our Doctors
Meet Dr. Melissa Shrout, who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February 2006. She is committed to understanding and treating patients with scoliosis and has a special interest in pediatrics. Dr. Derek Shrout, her husband, is also a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and specializes in sports injury and functional medicine.
