Founded in 1963 by Harriet and Garwood Andresen, the school has evolved significantly under the guidance of the Andresen family. A Legacy of Innovation
Iliff Preschool & Kindergarten has always been at the forefront of innovation in education. From its beginnings in a home purchased by the Andresen family, the school has expanded through creative additions, including a commercial kitchen, additional classroom spaces, toddler programs, and outdoor play areas. One of its most iconic features is the DC-7 airplane fuselage, repurposed as a kindergarten classroom known as Charlie 21. This imaginative learning environment has become a beloved institution, celebrating over 60 years of nurturing children's development and creativity in a dynamic and playful setting.
