At Gemma Rose Photography, we strive to capture life's precious moments in a real and honest way. As a Maui-based photographer, I, Gemma, have a passion for photography that was sparked by my fine arts education and a love for capturing moments of life and relationships. Growing up on Bowen Island, I developed a strong connection with nature, and I now enjoy spending time with my little island girl, Lyla, hiking, biking, swimming, surfing, and paddle-boarding.
My approach to photography is to capture the essence of a moment, without posing or forcing smiles. I believe that authentic moments are where true beauty lies, and I take pride in embracing the untraditional. Whether it's a couple celebrating their anniversary, a family on a magical vacation, or a pregnant woman feeling her best, I aim to capture the genuine emotions and connections that make life worth remembering.
My Favorite Moments
For me, it's not just about snapping photos; it's about preserving memories and telling stories. I love capturing the little moments that often go unnoticed - the smile on dad's face after his daughter does something unexpected, the proud grandparent holding their grandchild's hand as they walk across the sand, or the pregnant woman laughing because her growing belly has her losing her balance. These are the moments that make life meaningful, and I feel blessed to be able to capture them for my clients.
What to Expect
When you book a photo session with us, you can expect a fun, candid, and stress-free experience. I will provide guidance and direction while giving you the freedom to be yourself. Within seven business days, you'll receive your online gallery with the final digital files, allowing you to relive the memories of your special moment.
Packages
We offer three customizable packages to suit your needs:
- Package 1: 130 minutes, 50+ digital images, $499
- Package 2: 245 minutes, 75+ digital images, $599
- Package 3: 360 minutes, 100+ digital images, $699
If you're looking for something more custom, please inquire about our wedding, elopement, vow renewal, and event photography services.
Travel Fee
Please note that a $150 travel fee will be applied to sessions that take place outside West Maui (Lahaina, Ka'anapali, Honokowai, Kahana, Napili, and Kapalua).
