At Anthony Gauna Photography, we're passionate about capturing life's most precious moments. As a San Antonio-based photographer, I've been fortunate enough to document countless weddings, engagements, boudoir, and family moments since 2012. My approach is documentary, intentional, cinematic, collaborative, honest, and un-posed, focusing on authenticity and genuine connections.
Our Story
Growing up, I had a passion for music and dreamed of becoming a rockstar. After high school, I formed a band, The Alchemy, and we rocked hometown shows, opened for big acts, and even turned down a recording contract. But life had other plans. In 2010, I picked up a camera and started photographing bands in dive bars, learning my camera in the midst of mosh pits. Eventually, I transitioned to portraits and got my first wedding gig in 2011. I loved it - perhaps because weddings can be just as crazy and unpredictable as mosh pits! In 2012, I got fired from a cubicle job I hated, and that's when I decided to chase my dreams. The rest is history. I've been photographing everything from weddings and engagements to boudoir, maternity, and heart-warming family moments.
