Meet our team of dedicated professionals:
Michael Stoltz, D.M.D.Dr. Stoltz is a renowned oral implantologist and CAD-CAM dentist. He graduated with a biology degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 1987 and earned his DMD degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1991. Dr. Stoltz has a strong passion for helping others and is committed to providing top-notch care to his patients.
Kristen Whetsell, D.D.S.Dr. Whetsell comes from a Southern California background and graduated with a degree in human biology from the University of California, San Diego. She earned her DDS degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in 2012 and completed a General Practice Residency at the Veterans Hospital of San Diego. Dr. Whetsell is enthusiastic about dentistry and enjoys exploring Alaska with her husband and family.
Lacey, Dental Hygienist
Lacey is a Fairbanks native who earned her Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Fairbanks in 2015. She joined our practice in 2016 and has made a significant impact on our patients. Outside of work, Lacey loves spending time with her son, family, and friends, and enjoys camping, biking, and skiing.
Adam Weis, D.D.S.Dr. Weis is a local University of Fairbanks alumnus (BS in biochemistry) who earned his DDS degree from the University of Washington in 2020. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Weis enjoys skiing, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.
Melinda Herron, Dental Hygienist
Melinda earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Midlands Technical College in Columbia, SC. She has worked at Fairbanks Dental Center since 1999. Outside of work, Melinda enjoys spending time with her husband, Roger, and their two children, Zachary and Emily. She also enjoys gardening, fishing, cooking, and watching hockey.

As a new patient, we want to ensure you feel welcome and comfortable at our office. During your first visit, a dentist will review your dental and medical history, examine your teeth, and take X-rays. We will then explain any issues and help you choose options for treatment. We typically proceed with cleaning at a time that is most convenient for you.
