I have nothing but good things to say about Ron and his work. He made us a beautiful table that will be passed down for generations. Our whole house looks amazing with this new addition. Our live edge walnut dining room table is an absolute stunner! From start to finish, our experience working with Ron was exceptional. Ron did a great job communicating, from initial consultation, to picking the slabs, and providing updates throughout the entire process. He is a true craftsman and clearly takes a lot of care and pride in his work. His technical precision and quick turnaround time are unparalleled (say goodbye to big box store furniture purchases!) Beautiful custom piece and excellent experience working with Ron for our live edge dining table! From the point of initial contact, final delivery and beyond, Ron provided a level of customer service and attention to detail that far exceeded our expectations. We visited numerous furniture stores and couldnt find the right look, color or size of a dining table for our place. Ron was quick to respond, welcomed us at his shop, discussed design ideas and got a chance to understand what our taste entailed.
He provided us pictures of various black walnut slabs, and guided us patiently through the process to ease any anxieties towards the selection of one which would ultimately become our dining table. We absolutely love our custom table! Going above and beyond, after delivery, Ron also provided us a build book with pictures from slab to finish. A gift that memorializes our heirloom dining table. We are absolutely thrilled with our exquisite coffee table that was manufactured by "Handmade by Ron Lohse". It brings warmth and elegance to our family room for all to enjoy. It was built from black walnut and displays live edges all around which showcases the natural wood and adds a unique/organic touch. We contracted with Handmade by Ronald Lohse to build a new dining room table for us. Given the importance of a dining room table, we really wanted something that would like an heirloom and that was locally made. Using a photo of something we liked, Ronald was able to design exactly what we wanted. In fact, what Ronald delivered is far more beautiful than anything we could have purchased in a store.
We worked with Ronald throughout the design process. We had a vision for the legs, and Ronald was very willing to go back-and-forth to make sure that he understood that vision. Ronald was great a communicating. He gave us updates on timing, and he sent pictures and videos throughout the construction process. It was definitely excited to receive those videos each week.
The table was delivered on time, and it is spectacular. I have attached some pictures that do not do it justice. Ronald may have some better photos on his website. We highly recommend Handmade by Ronald Lohse. We will definitely be contacting him again for other projects.

Ron took our beautiful tall (outdated) TV console and converted it into a low cabinet for our TV. I didn't want to throw out the tall cabinet. The wood is beautiful. But I had seen how people had trouble unloading these large pieces of furniture. I also did not like any of the new styles in our price range. I read about Ron's business and asked for a quote.
He did an amazing job converting the cabinet at a reasonable price. I also appreciate that he can use the remaining wood for his future projects. Highly recommend his craftsmanship!

My husband and I are thrilled with the pieces that Ronald made for us. I was able to show him pictures from a store that we wanted something similar but out of the black walnut and he did an excellent job! We had this gorgeous coffee table, end table and bookshelf made. Ronald and his wife hand delivered each piece. We would highly recommend his company to anyone looking for custom pieces. Much better than what you will find in a mass merchant store!

We contacted Ron about a corner TV stand, as the one we wanted wasnt wide enough for what we needed. We sent pictures and dimensions to him with the changes we wanted and no pun intended he nailed it. The stand is simple gorgeous and will be handed down through generations. I had Ron make me a live edge walnut epoxy river table and the whole experience was easy. He was responsive to my questions and worked with my schedule to deliver the table in less than 6 weeks from the estimate. The table looks beautiful in my space. Although I havent used it yet, I love it and would definitely use Ron for another project, should the opportunity present itself.

First off, Ron is a true craftsman that works with his clients and makes their vision come to life. He made a custom rolling breakfast bar with heavy duty casters. It sits in our dining room. This rolling table/Cart can also serve as a kitchen island to prepare food when extra counter space is required. Made out of maple. His attention to the fine details of fit and finish are a sign of a perfectionist.
Very easy to work with. Had a last minute change with the type of hinge I wanted to use for the doors. No worries he took care of it. We LOVE the coffee table Ron built for us. He did a great job listening to our requirements and gave us a couple of design variations on exactly what we requested after coming to the house to take measurements and take photos of some existing furniture we wanted to complement. He then showed us a design he was thinking of doing for himself and we fell in love - and that is what you see below. The job was done faster than anticipated and we are still amazed at getting solid walnut furniture for such a reasonable price. We're already thinking about our next piece!
