Our owners, Jim and Michelle Ruckman, created Top Notch Construction to raise their four children, including one with special needs, and to be available for them at a moment's notice. Jim Ruckman, our owner and operator, is a fourth-generation building professional specializing in residential decks, remodels, and multiple other trades. His father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all in the trades, and his uncles, nephews, cousins, siblings, friends, and even children are all working in the construction industry. We have an extensive network of skilled professionals who can provide support for any project that requires specialized expertise.
