Founded in 1948 by L.L. and Charlotte Corbitt, our funeral home has been a cherished staple in the community, providing funeral services, cremation services, monument sales and installation, cemetery work, and pre-need funeral arrangements.

Our History

Corbitt's Funeral Home was born out of a passion for serving others and a commitment to excellence. Our founders, L.L. and Charlotte Corbitt, were dedicated to providing a high level of care and compassion to families in their time of need. Over the years, their son Roy E. Corbitt joined the business, followed by his wife Effie Jean Corbitt, and later their son R.E. "Ed" Corbitt, Jr. Today, Thomas Corbitt, a licensed funeral director and embalmer, and his wife Katie are proudly carrying on the family legacy.
