Preschool in the Valley is a Christian preschool that caters to children aged 2 to 5 years old. We are located in Malvern, PA, and are a ministry of the Great Valley Presbyterian Church. Our preschool believes that every child is a unique creation of God, and we aim to provide them with a nurturing environment that supports their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development.

Our Philosophy

At Preschool in the Valley, we believe that children learn best through play. Therefore, we offer a child-centered and developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on the growth of the whole child. Our preschool is an extension of the ministry of Great Valley Presbyterian Church. We aim to share the message of God's love with every child who walks through our doors. Our Programs

We offer classes for children aged 2 to 4 years old. Our curriculum objectives are based on providing our students with the following opportunities:

• To know themselves as persons with strengths and weaknesses
• To know the balance of independence and interdependence
• To know themselves as part of a group
• To know themselves as children of God

Our 2-year-old program meets two or three mornings per week, while our 3 and 4-year-old programs offer more options for families. Our curriculum is tailored to each age group, with a focus on developing social and emotional skills, language and literacy, cognitive abilities, and physical development.

Early and Extended Care

We offer early care from 8 am to 9 am and extended day from noon to 3 pm, Monday through Friday. These services are available for an additional fee and require advanced registration. Our extended care program provides a safe and comfortable environment for children to rest, play, and engage in activities while their parents are at work or running errands.

Special Events and Programs

Throughout the year, we offer a variety of special events and programs that provide opportunities for families to connect and engage in the life of the preschool. Some of these events include Silly Hat Days, Day with Dad, Moment with Mom, Spring Sing/Graduation/End of year picnic, and Summer in the Valley. We also offer a Mommy & Me Music & Movement Class for families with children aged 1 to 3 years old.

Our staff is comprised of dedicated and experienced early childhood educators who are committed to providing a high-quality educational experience for every child.
