RPI Company has been in operation for over three decades, with a rich history dating back to its founding in the 1980s. Originally formed as a subsidiary of National Properties, Incorporated (NPI), a privately held real estate corporation, RPI provided property maintenance and construction services to NPI's multi-family and commercial properties. During its early years, RPI focused on developing innovative approaches to the business, driven by its ability to understand the challenges faced by property owners in maintaining high-quality properties at a reasonable cost.
Our History
RPI's story began in the 1980s, when NPI was purchasing and managing existing garden apartment communities in Southeastern Pennsylvania. As NPI expanded its operations, RPI followed suit, acquiring new equipment and talented personnel to expand its capabilities. This period saw RPI establish a strong foundation in the multi-family and commercial real estate markets, earning a reputation for delivering high-quality services and value to its customers.
In 2007, NPI made the decision to liquidate its assets and sell its 22 apartment communities to a single buyer. In anticipation of this major event, RPI began transitioning into an independent property maintenance and construction services company. This transformation allowed RPI to capitalize on its expertise and relationships developed over the years, solidifying its position in the market.
