Our History

Our journey began in 1938, when John F. Hayden founded the firm. Later, Patton Ross joined him, and together they built a strong foundation for the company. Over the years, we have intentionally restricted our practice area to maintain more personal contact with our clients. This approach has allowed us to develop long-standing relationships with our clients, providing personalized service and attention to their unique needs.

Our auditing services are primarily for not-for-profit organizations, governmental entities, and agricultural-related industries. We also have expertise in computerized accounting services and are one of the first accounting firms in the State of Idaho to join the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). As part of this process, we have undergone quality control reviews by the AICPA.
