John Bloomer Jr. holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Rutgers University School of Law, a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College.

In addition to his legal practice, John Bloomer Jr. has also taught at Castleton State College, where he taught financial management, studies in financial accounting, and microeconomics in context.
