He holds numerous professional designations, including Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI), and Licensed Insurance Counselor (LIC). David earned his degree in Risk & Insurance from Michigan State University and has been serving the Grand Rapids community ever since.
- Brian Boer: Brian, David's son, joined the team in 2017 after working as a CPA in Grand Rapids and Toronto. Brian earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from Michigan State University and is passionate about protecting the public and providing unparalleled client service.
- Derek Boer: Derek, David's other son, also joined the team in 2017 after working as a CPA in New York City. Derek holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and brings a wealth of experience from his time working with global companies in New York City.
- Grace McLaughlin: Grace is the newest member of our team, having joined us in 2019 after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Michigan State University with a Bachelors in Sociology and a minor in Economics. Grace brings her attention to detail, client service experience, and knowledge of The Office to Boer Insurance Group.
- Beth Kessler: Beth joined our team in 2021 and graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors in English and a minor in Broadcasting and Cinematic Arts. Beth enjoys spending her free time reading, writing, and doing various DIY projects.
- Valina Greer: Valina brings nine years of prior insurance experience to the Boer Insurance Group team, primarily as an account manager. Valina loves to travel, especially to Caribbean beaches, and enjoys spending time with her family, watching NFL football, and binging Netflix documentaries.
