Orgyen Dorje Den

Orgyen Dorje Den is a Tibetan Buddhist Center in the Nyingma tradition, founded by the Venerable Gyatrul Rinpoche under the auspices of His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche. Our mission is to provide a clear path to enlightenment, transforming one's heart and mind through the study and practice of authentic Tibetan Buddhism. Our vision is to promote a society in which altruism, kindness, and compassion are the guiding principles in all of our actions.

Our Services

At Orgyen Dorje Den, we offer a wide range of services to facilitate the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our current center in Alameda was acquired in 2001 and has since blossomed into an extraordinary resource and support for the Buddhadharma. We provide a place for individuals to learn, practice, and grow in their spiritual journey, with the guidance of experienced Lamas and a supportive community.

Programs and Events

Our programs and events are designed to cater to individuals of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. We offer regular pujas, meditation sessions, and teachings on various aspects of Tibetan Buddhism, including the preliminary practices (Ngondro) and the highest Buddhist teachings of Vajrayana. We also host special events, such as retreats and ceremonies, which provide opportunities for individuals to deepen their practice and connect with like-minded individuals.
