Who We Are
At Southern Memorial Funeral Home & Crematorium, we understand the importance of providing compassionate and professional services to families during their most difficult times. Our establishment was built in 1996 and is the newest funeral home located within Montgomery. Formerly owned by two corporations, it was purchased by Brian T. Gallion in November 2004 and is now locally owned and operated for the first time in its history.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services for both funeral and cremation arrangements. Our facility is equipped with four parlors that can be made into two larger parlors when necessary, and offer both feminine and masculine decor. We offer full traditional funeral services at our facility along with visitation services. Our directors also service funerals at churches, temples, graveside, and numerous other locations. All preparation of the family's loved one is provided within our facility.
Caskets and vaults are available for purchase through our company, and we have a wide selection to choose from. We also offer numerous cremation services, including on-site cremation, which ensures that our families' loved ones are taken care of solely within our facility. Urns and urn vaults are also available for purchase, along with monuments.
Pre-Planning
We understand that making the many decisions that come at a time of loss can be difficult. That's why we offer pre-need arrangements for all services provided. Payment plans are available, and we do not include any financing charges. Our directors are available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to answer any questions you may have.
Grief Support
We also offer grief support services, including a grief library and grief bookstore. We understand that learning about grief and mourning can help you survive and eventually heal. Our resources are designed to help you navigate the grieving process and find comfort during difficult times.
