Our History

Gilbert Construction Co was founded in 1975 by R. Austin Gilbert Jr. and his wife Beth. Jerry Fields joined the team in 1976 and became a partner in the Gilbert & Fields division of Gilbert Construction, which specialized in metal building, in 1977. Over the years, the company has established and fostered successful relationships in the construction industry. In 2012, Austin and Jerry decided to merge their companies to form Gilbert & Fields Construction.
