Our Mission

At Charming Children Childcare & Preschool, our mission is to partner with families to bring out the best in each child by building self-confidence, promoting a healthy mind and body, and developing strong character. We believe that every child needs a nurturing environment rich in experiences through play, education, and social opportunity. That's why we work in partnership with families to help enrich each child's life through reading, music, movement, creativity, exploration, and social activity.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each child. Our services include:

Infant Care

Our nursery is designed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for babies that feels like a home-away-from-home. We've created a unique and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning through play, music, social interaction, and language repetition. Our teachers use teachable moments to encourage learning and independence, while each child explores using all their senses and abilities.

Toddler & Early Preschool

As your child grows into a toddler, early preschool becomes a pivotal time of discovery and learning. Our priority is to provide an environment that builds a strong foundation for learning and encourages a child's natural curiosity to discover the world around them. We encourage children to learn colors, shapes, letters, motor-skills, communication skills, and early science through playing, music, reading, creativity, social interaction, language repetition, and hands-on activities.

Preschool

Our preschool program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten by learning through play, music, social interaction, language, literacy, math, creativity, exploration of science, and physical and emotional growth. Our goal is to help each child develop self-confidence in social interaction and build a strong foundation for future learning.

Areas of Focus for Learning Development

Our programs are designed to focus on the following areas of learning development:

• Literacy: Alpha Knowledge, Comprehension, Concepts About Print, Writing, Drawing
• Mathematics: Counting & Numbers, Numbers & Operations, Data Representation & Probability, Measurement, Algebra
