At Simply Balanced Bookkeeping, our mission is to help small business owners simplify their lives by managing their finances with QuickBooks. Our motto, "Balanced Books. Simplified Life, " embodies our commitment to helping our clients achieve financial clarity and stability. With over 20 years of experience in QuickBooks, we have developed a deep understanding of the accounting software and its capabilities.

Our Story

Our founder, Patti, has a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Brigham Young University in Elementary Education. After teaching for 7 years, she "retired" and began doing the bookkeeping for her family's Tree Care Company, Tree Doctors North, Inc. For more than 15 years, she managed all financial aspects of the business and became a QuickBooks expert. In 2011, the tree business was sold, and Patti organized Simply Balanced Books, received further QuickBooks training and certifications, and began helping small business owners manage their companies.

At Simply Balanced Bookkeeping, we offer a range of services designed to help small to medium-sized businesses thrive. Our services include:

• Bookkeeping: We categorize your bank transactions, reconcile your bank accounts, and provide accurate financial statements.
• Payroll Set-Up: Our experts will help you set up and maintain your payroll service with QuickBooks Online Payroll.
• Process 1099's: Every January, we file and send 1099s to the subcontractors you pay.
• Sales Tax Filing: We file and pay your monthly, quarterly, or annual sales taxes.
• Technical Support: Sometimes all you need is the answer to a question. We've got you covered!

Who We Serve

We serve small to medium-sized businesses using QuickBooks Online. Whether you're currently using the desktop version of QuickBooks, we can show you the benefits of using QuickBooks Online. With the flexibility of the online version, we can service clients in all 50 states. At this time, we do not service companies outside of the United States.
