Rory Foubister

Founder and Principal Architect, Rory Foubister, brings a wealth of experience and a global perspective to Foubister Architects. Born and raised in England, Rory's architectural journey began at Edinburgh University (College of Art), followed by a postgraduate degree at Lund University in Sweden. His diverse career has included working with renowned firms in Edinburgh, London, and Berlin, further shaping his design philosophy. Rory's dedication to providing high-quality architecture that remains true to its design, cost, and schedule parameters is evident in every project undertaken by the firm. When not immersed in design, Rory enjoys balancing his professional life with the joys of fatherhood and his passion for good coffee, which is always readily available in the office.

Jill Foubister

Jill, a Californian native, plays a vital role in the firm's operation as Business Manager and Marketing Director. She seamlessly combines her administrative expertise with her dedication to family and teaching at a local yoga studio. Jill firmly believes in living a balanced life and incorporates her knowledge of Feng Shui into her work, creating harmonious and positive work environments.

Nour Kassam

Nour, with a European upbringing in both Rome and Paris, brings an innate understanding of progressive and thoughtful design to Foubister Architects.

Jason Reed

Jason, our in-house craftsman and carpenter, embodies Foubister Architects' commitment to hands-on expertise.

With an eye for detail and a love for working with wood, Jason is an invaluable asset to the team, ensuring projects are executed with precision and care.

Kendall Harris

Kendall, a licensed architect with over a decade of experience in residential design, brings a unique perspective to the team. Her expertise in both interior and exterior design allows her to provide comprehensive solutions that meet the specific needs of each client. Kendall's experience at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Real Estate Development, has provided her with a well-rounded understanding of the architectural process.

Nathan Cowle

Nathan, our skilled Sketchup guru, brings designs to life through his uncanny ability to transform hand sketches into intricate three-dimensional models. His expertise in residential architecture and experience with projects of all scales make him an essential member of the design team.
